Define Section Profile dialog
Used to specify beam stress locations for general user-provided table sections for use in post-processing.
Opens when either:
- the Define Section Profile tool is selected in the Model group on the Beam ribbon tab
- Define Section Profile is selected from the right-click pop-up menu
Note: This tool is only active when a member using a general UPT section
is selected in the Postprocessing workflow.
Enter the local Y and Z coordinates of the section extreme fibers
to specify stress points.
You can also
swap
the top and bottom sides (
) or left and right sides (
) in order to facilitate entering
stress points by clicking the corresponding tools.
Tip: Additional profile name, material, and section
properties are provided to assist in identifying the section.
