There are settings that are constant for every model within a project (i.e. units, pipe spacing, and default insulation thickness). These variables are set in the Project Setup dialog and the information is saved in the <project>\externals\unit-constants.lisp file.

Although these values may be changed at any time, changing them may invalidate previously built models. Some changes may actually invalidate model export data from previously built models. For example, changing the nominal diameter units will cause pipeline diameters in the process data import files to be interpreted differently.

Following is a list of all the project setup variable with their description, constant name, and the English and Metric values (in Main units) provided in the Bentley Systems dpar_master project. All hyphens ( - ) in the constant names are required when referred to in the equipment library or reports.
