Expansion Loops
These constants are those related to the sizing of pipeway expansion loops.
| Setting | Description |

| 45 Inline Elbow Threshold | The diameter at which loops rise above the pipeline with a 45 degree inline elbow connection.
|
| Change of Direction Expansion Threshold | If the diameter is LESS THAN or EQUAL to the Change of Direction Expansion Threshold the Small Change of Direction Expansion value is used instead of the Large Change of Direction Expansion value.

| Expansion per Loop Threshold | The diameter at which the Small Expansion per Loop value is used instead of the Large Expansion per Loop value.
|
| Large Change of Direction Expansion | The allowed expansion at the change of direction of a pipe run for pipes GREATER THAN the Change of Direction Expansion Threshold.

| Large Expansion per Loop | The allowable expansion in a single loop for pipes GREATER THAN the Expansion per Loop Threshold.
|
| Large Loop Width | The width of expansion loops for pipes with diameters EQUAL to or LARGER THAN the Large Width Threshold.
|
| Large Width Threshold | The diameter that is the upper bound of the Medium Loop Width. Pipes LARGER THAN this diameter have a loop width equal to the Large Loop Width.

| Loop Placement Tolerance | The spacing tolerance used to identify nearby bent and bay centers.
|
| Medium Loop Width | The width of expansion loops for pipes with diameters between the Small Width Threshold and the Large Width Threshold.
|
| Small Change of Direction Expansion | The allowed expansion at the change of direction of a pipe run for pipes LESS THAN or EQUAL to the Change of Direction Expansion Threshold.
|
| Small Expansion per Loop | The allowable expansion in a single loop for pipes LESS THAN or EQUAL to the Expansion per Loop Threshold.
|
| Small Loop Width | The width of expansion loops for pipes with a diameter LESS THAN the Small Width Threshold.
|
| Small Width Threshold | The diameter that is the lower bound of the Medium Loop Width. Pipes SMALLER THAN this size have a loop width equal to the Small Loop Width.
|
| Tee Proximity Threshold | The distance a loop location should be from a tee on the pipeline.
