Site Constants
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Boundary CAD Level | is the CAD level boundary elements are drawn on.
Grade | The elevation to be used as grade throughout the site. This parameter affects default Z-coordinate values of equipment locations when positioning equipment in a model for the first time.
Headroom | The minimum vertical clearance over stairs, platforms, walkways, passageways and working areas. This value is not used internally, rather it was designed for use in vicinity routing rules.
Levels Above Highest Obstacle | The number of routing planes above the highest obstacle that will determine the upper boundary of the routing space.
Minimum Access Spacing | The minimum distance two components can be from each other without creating a Proximity Conflict. This value is used when there is no Plant Spacing Class assigned to the component(s).
Minimum Line Spacing | Used to calculate the obstacle formed by a pipeline. The Minimum Line Spacing is the distance between one pipe’s outer diameter and the adjacent pipe’s outer flange diameter – insulation thicknesses are include in the diameters when necessary.
Obstacle Vertical Clearance | The distance an obstacle or equipment obstacle box is extended vertically downwards to block lower routing levels.
Pipeway Adjacency Threshold | The maximum distance within which two perpendicular pipeways (exterior or structure) will be considered as intersecting by the Router.
Plot Boundary Offset | Defines the horizontal extension of the plot boundary (routing space) beyond the outside obstacles. Expressed as a multiplier of the Routing Plane Offset.
Routing Plane Offset | The vertical distance between routing planes.
