The following major features have been added to STAAD.Pro 2024. This document should be read in conjunction with all other STAAD.Pro help files, including the Revision History document found in the Readme.
Steel Design per AISC 360-2022
The design of hot-rolled steel members per the American AISC 360-2022 code are now available in STAAD.Pro.
Steel Design per AS 4100-2020
The design of hot-rolled steel members per Australian AS 4100-2020 code has been added to the analysis and design engine.
The Australian hot-rolled steel sections have also been added as a new standard profile database.
Australian / New Zealand Cold-formed Steel Design
The design of cold-formed steel members per Australian and New Zealand AS/NZS 4600-2018 code has been added to the analysis and design engine.

Shape Editor
The Section Wizard application has been replaced with Shape Editor. This tool allows you to easily create and edit custom and built-up shapes. These shapes can then be exported to a user-provided table for use in your STAAD.Pro model.
Import of Microstran and Multiframe Files
Users of Microstran and Multiframe can convert those files to STAAD.Pro models using a new conversion tool found on the Start page.
Custom Queries for Reports
You can customize tables in reports to filter on values, hide columns, and format the display of columns. You can use conditions to filter on the individual table objects. Advanced users can even write their SQL queries to specify conditions.
High-performance Cloud Analysis
The cloud analysis feature has been enhanced to allow for breaking up models with a large number of load cases into sub-models for parallel analysis using the cloud. The models are then re-assembled as a single set of results for download.
