Layout > Columns menu

Note: The items that appear on the Layout > Column menu are dependent on the current material selection. Not all menu options listed below are available with each material.
Menu Item Description
Add On-Grid Opens the Add <material> Column On-Grid Mode dialog, which is used to graphically add columns on existing grid intersections.
Add Off-Grid Opens the Add <material> Column Off-Grid Mode dialog, which is used to graphically add a column offset by a distance and angle from an existing column. This is useful for skewed or radial framing configurations.
Move Opens the Move/Slope Column dialog, which is used to graphically move or slope columns.
Offset Opens the Offset Column dialog, which is used to offset columns.
Assign Rigid Links Opens the Assign Column Rigid Links dialog, which is used to assign rigid links to columns.
Delete Opens the <material> Column Delete dialog, which is used to graphically delete columns.
Change Properties Opens the Change <material> Column Properties Mode dialog, which is used to change column properties of existing columns.
Change Materials Opens the Change <material> Column Material Mode dialog, which is used to change the material of existing columns.
Show Prompts you to select a column and then opens the Column Show Mode dialog, which is used to show the properties and location of a column.
LL Reduction Opens the Column <material> Live Load Reduction dialog, which is used to assign a maximum live load reduction factor percentage to one or more columns.
Modify Elevation Opens the Modify Column Elevations dialog, which is used to raise or lower the top of columns to create sloping framing.
Assign Frame Fixity Opens the Assign Frame Column Fixity dialog, which is used to assign end fixity conditions to lateral columns.
Assign Eccentricity (Steel only) Opens the Assign Column Eccentricity dialog, which is used to graphically modify the eccentricity settings for one or more columns.
Assign Size Opens the Assign <material> Column Size Mode dialog, which is used to assign a size to one or more lateral columns.
Clear Size Opens the Clear <material> Column Size dialog, which is used to clear the previously assigned size of one or more lateral columns.
Text Opens the <material> Column Text Layout dialog, which is used to Add, Change or Delete Columns in Text Mode (i.e., tabular format).
