Layout - Columns - Change Properties
Selecting the Layout - Columns - Change Properties command causes the Change Column Properties Mode dialog box to appear. This command is used to change the properties of existing columns of the current material.
If the Framing of the member is changed, the color of that member will change to indicate the framing type (gravity or lateral). Default colors are set at the time of installation but can be modified using the Options - Pen Color command.

Once you have made entries in the Change Column Mode dialog box, click either Single or Fence.

| Single: | Click the target cursor on the column for which you wish to change properties. | |||
| Fence: | Fence an area in which the properties of all columns will be changed. | Return to the Change Column Properties dialog box with the Right Mouse Button or the "D" key. | Return to the Layout - Columns menu with the "M" key. | Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Columns - Change Properties command. |
