Creating Surfaces

There are three methods to create surfaces:
  • Creating Freeform Surfaces - Freeform surfaces can be created by constructing surface by cross-sections, edges, skin, sweeping along curves or by placing a helical surface.
  • Using profiles - Surfaces can be created from profiles by linear extrusion, revolving, or extrusion along a path.
  • Placing Primitive Surfaces - Primitive Surfaces are simple 3D surface elements - slab, dome, cylinder, torus, cone, or elliptical cone.
Following tools lets you create surfaces by all these methods.
