Surface by Image

Used to create a B-spline surface from a raster image.

You can access this tool from the following:

Setting	Description
Image File	Displays the name of the selected image file.
Define Image File icon	Opens the Open dialog, which lets you select an image file.
Height	Defines the overall height scale of the resultant surface.
U Sample Points	Defines the number of sample points taken in the U direction.
V Sample Points	Defines the number of sample points taken in the V direction.
Proportional to Image	If on, only the image length is defined and the proportions of the selected image are maintained when the surface is created. If off, the image area is defined and the selected image is stretched to fit the defined area before the surface is created.
