PlantWise Router Menu
The Router menu contains two commands that control the router itself.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Route | Opens the AutoRouter Control dialog to route and/or reroute pipelines. |
| Unroute | Removes all pipe routes. Before unrouting, the AutoRouter prompts you for confirmation. |
| Pipeway Header Sequence | Opens the Pipeway Header Sequence dialog. This dialog allows the squencing of header pipes on pipeways. |
| AutoNozzle All | Activates the nozzle placement rules for all placed equipment in the model. This command differs from the AutoNoz command in the Plant toolbox in CAD, which only activates the nozzle placement for a single piece of equipment (see Plant Toolbox). |
| Auto Flange All | Places flanges on all pipes that do not already have
flanges. A flange will be placed at both the upstream and downstream segment of
a pipeline based on the
Project Setup settings for
Auto Flange.
There five Project Setup settings for
Auto Flange. Three are simple Yes/No values that
control whether or not a flange is to be placed at:
The other two Project Setup variables control which User
Defined Inline is to be placed on the upstream and downstream segments of the
pipes.
Note: Any User
Defined Inline may be specified and there is no error checking if the UDI is
actually a flange, or if it even exists.
The
PlantWise main dialog will display
"Finished Auto Flange"after all of the flanges have been added. |
| Auto Reducer All | Scans all pipelines and insert a reducer in the connectivity record when it finds an inconsistency in the diameters. |
| AutoLoop | Opens the Pipeway Loop Editor. |
| Freeze/Thaw | Opens the Freeze/Thaw Control dialog. |
