The AS 4100 design codes can be used to design members which are specified from a range of section profiles.

For specification of member properties, either the steel section library available in STAAD.Pro or the user table facility may be used.

• Standard hot-rolled steel profiles

  Standard and legacy database

  • I-sections - non-composite and without top or bottom cover plates;
  • Channel - single only
  • Angle - single only
  • Tee
  • Pipe - member selection may be performed on CHS sections only
  • Tube - member selection may be performed on RHS and SHS sections only
• User table profiles
• Prismatic

  • Pipe
