To open an archive file in
STAAD.Pro, use the following procedure.

Select the
Open tab on the
Start page.

Select the Archive tab as the source type.
Tip: You
can open recent Archive files with one click. These are listed on the
Archive tab along the top of the Open tab
The Windows
Open dialog opens.

Select the
File Name of the archive file (file extension
.stz) you want to open.
Tip: Click the
[…] button to navigate to the folder where
the archive is saved.

Select the
Location where you want to store the extracted
project files.

Click
Open.
You can work with the STAAD input file and associated files within the
archive as you normally would. Select
to close the archive when you are finished.
