A work area connection is a link between a work area in a ProjectWise Design Integration datasource and a ProjectWise project in the CONNECT Center that exposes the work area and its contents inside the ProjectWise Web portal of that ProjectWise project. In short, if you want your users to be able to access ProjectWise documents from ProjectWise Web, you need to add a connection to the work area that contains those documents to the ProjectWise Web portal of your ProjectWise project.
