To Place HVAC Branching Components
Components are
typically connected to other components or placed at known distances to one
another. However, you may want to place a component "in space"; that is, at a
specific location or coordinate with no respect to other component locations.
Note: It is suggested that
the user should be proficient with the AccuDraw tool when routing components in
OpenPlant Modeler
.
Note: If placing a
component W.R.T. to the active point of a bend component, refer to the
Snap to an Active Point of an Elbow topic for details.
- Open the Standard Preferences dialog and set the HVAC System and component values.
