Building Structural Category Variables

Lists user configuration variables that generally apply to the Building Structural discipline.

STR_DISABLE_COPE_DEPENDENCIES	Disable cope dependencies	Disables automatic updating of coping functionality. Undefined or a value of zero enables automatic updating of copes. A value of 1 disables automatic updating of copes.
STF_DOUBLEANGLE_PREFIX	Double Angle Prefix	Used to create a prefix ("2L" for instance) for exporting solid Tee sections as double angle sections to CIS/2 if double angle sections are not available.
STFDIR_RAMSTRSYSTEMPROGRAM	RAM Structural Systems executable	Specifies the location of the RAM Structural Systems executable file.
STFDIR_OPENSTAAD	STAAD.Pro executable file	Specifies the location of the STAAD.Pro executable file.
STFFILE_DRAWINGRULES	Structural Drawing Rules	Specifies the name and location of the file that stores the Structural drawing rules.
STFFILE_MODELSTYLES	Structural Model Styles	Specifies the name and location of the file that stores the Structural model annotation styles.
STRUCTURAL_SHAPES	Structural Shapes	Specifies the name of the file(s) that contain structural shapes (section files). Structural section files are specified in the Section File Manager dialog.
BB_GRAPHICALSCHEDULE_CELLLIST	Cell Library List for Graphical Column Schedule	List of cell library files that contain cells that will be available to be used within the Graphical Column Schedulegraphical column schedules. May contain wildcards.
BB_GRAPHICALSCHEDULE_DGNLIBLIST	DGN Library List for Graphical Column Schedule	List of DGN library files that are used to find Drawing Seeds that will be available to be used within the Graphical Column Schedule. May contain wildcards.
BB_GRAPHICALSCHEDULE_HIDDEN_MODEL	Show/Hide Intermediate Model while generating graphical schedule	Intermediate model for Graphical Column Schedule will be visible if variable is set to '1'.
BB_STRUCTURAL_LEGACY_ENABLE	Enable Structural Legacy mode.	Set equal to 1 to enable Legacy mode. Set to 0 (default) to disable Legacy mode.
BB_CREATE_STRUCTURAL_WIDGET_ANNOTATIONS	Create Widget as an annotation element	Set to '1', 'true' or 'on' to enable creation of Structural Widgets as an annotation elements that could be modified after drawing is created.

Uncategorized Building Structural Configurations

List of user configuration variables that generally apply to all Building applications which are listed in the Configuration dialog's All (Alphabetical) category.

STFDIR_QUANTIFYXLS	Specifies the location of quantification XLS file STF Quantity ReportV8.xls.
STRFILE_MODELCOPESETTINGSXML	Specifies the XML file used to contain model coping (auto-coping) settings for the import of ISM and RAM Structural System models.

Unlisted Building Structural configurations

Lists user configuration variables that generally apply to all Building disciplines which do not appear in the Configuration dialog.

Variable	Description
SECTIONMAPPING_SETTING	Specifies the location and file name of the ISM section mapping settings file. This configuration variable is created automatically when sections are mapped via the ISM Import and Mapping Sections dialogs.
STRDIR_DRAWINGS	Specifies the drawing settings directory.
STRDRAWINGS_LARGECOPINGPAIRMEMBERCOUNT	For automatic coping in the import of large ISM and Ram Structural System models, a pop up dialog appears warning the operation is time-consuming if cope pair combinations contains more than the STRDRAWINGS_LARGECOPINGPAIRMEMBERCOUNT specified number of members.
STRDRAWINGS_OPENDRAWINGVIEW	When defined (any value), opening a drawing model (by double-clicking or Open Drawing Model) opens the drawing in the original view rather than navigating to the model in the same view.
STFVAL_UPDATEEXPANSION	When updating (as opposed to recreating) DEM extractions, a slightly larger volume is cleared around each form that is being updated. The built-in Building Designer default of 2 UORs is not large enough for Structural members when labels are involved so Structural approximates a value based on the assigned rules. DEM uses that value. If that is not enough (something still doesn’t get cleared), STFVAL_UPDATEEXPANSION can be used to specify the expansion distance. The STFVAL_UPDATEEXPANSION value is expressed in plotting units (not model units).
TFSAVEAS_SECTIONNAMETODWGBLOCK	When exporting a Structural model from the DGN format to the DWG format, section data is attached as a string to each element in the exported file.
