Integrating Brava with AssetWise ALIM Web Server
Brava! is a third party file viewer, used for viewing files in AssetWise when you do not have the file's native application installed. To use the Brava viewer in AssetWise ALIM Web, the following server-side configuration is required:
- On a separate computer
(where
AssetWise ALIM Web Server is not installed),
install Brava! Enterprise, HTML version, version 16.6. See your Brava
documentation for details.
Make sure the computer where you install Brava Enterprise is on the same domain as the computer where AssetWise ALIM Web Server is installed.
- On the Brava Enterprise computer, increase the default HTTP header size.
- On the Brava Enterprise computer, open port 8080 to allow connections from the AssetWise ALIM Web Server.
- Enable the Brava! Web Viewer Integration option in the AssetWise ALIM Web virtual directory on the AssetWise ALIM Web Server (see Configuring a New or Existing AssetWise ALIM Web Virtual Directory ).
- Edit the AW:Brava:PrivateUrl setting in the WEB.CONFIG file of the AssetWise ALIM Web virtual directory on the AssetWise ALIM Web Server (see Modifying web.config for Brava Integration).
