STAAD.Pro is capable of performing steel design based on the Indian code IS 800 - 1984 General construction in steel - Code of practice.

Note: The IS 800 - 1984 is not appropriate for the design of hollow pipe or tube sections. The design of such members should be done using IS 800 - 2007 WSD or LFD codes.
