Layout - Joists
The Layout- Joist menu is only visible when the 'Steel Joist' has been selected as the current material.

| Add On-Grid | To add joists using the current Grid Lines and columns for joist end points. |
| Add Off-Grid | To add a single joist using existing joists or columns as a reference point. |

| Change Materials | To change a beam of a different material into a joist.. |
| Show | To show the properties and location of a joist. |
| Depth Restriction | To impose a depth restriction for the joist optimization on one or more joists. |
| Steel Table | To assign the default or alternate steel table to one or more joists. |
| Deflect. Criteria | To assign the default or alternate deflection criteria to one or more joists. |
| LL Reduction | To assign a maximum live load reduction factor percentage to one or more joists. Assign |
