The View/Update dialog box is used to check individual footing design results and redesign footings after modifying the design parameters. These dialog boxes are non-modal so they do not need to be closed before selecting to View/Update another footing. You can do so by simply clicking on another footing.

The traffic lights on the View/Update dialog box graphically indicate the status of the design. A green light indicates the design is current and passes all checks. Yellow indicates the design is not current and a redesign is required. Red indicates that the design did not passed and the footing design settings need to be modified. There is a description of the reason why the footing did not pass on the Design tab.
