Layout - Beams - Change Properties
Selecting the Layout - Beams - Change Properties command will cause the Beam Change Properties Mode dialog box to appear. In this dialog box, you will change the material properties of your beams. Depending on the material chosen from the Materials menu, the contents of this dialog box will vary.
Note: The Change Properties command will only modify the properties of beams in the current material mode.

Once entries have been made in the Beams Change Properties dialog box, click either Single or Fence.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Single: | Click the target cursor on the beam whose properties you wish to change. |
| Fence: | Fence an area in which the properties of all beams will be changed. |
Return to the Change Beam Properties dialog box with the Right Mouse Button or the "D" key.
Return to the Layout - Beams menu with the "M" key.
Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Beams - Change Properties command.
