To Assign or Change an Environment When Creating a Folder or Work Area

When creating a folder or work area, the environment of the new folder or work area is automatically set to the environment of the parent folder or work area. Before you finish creating the folder or work area, you can assign or change the environment as needed.

  1. When creating a folder, in the Create Folder dialog, select an environment from the Environment list or select <none> if you do not want any environment assigned to this folder.
  2. When creating a work area, on the Define the work area root folder properties page of the Work Area Creation Wizard, select an environment from the Environment list or select <none> if you do not want any environment assigned to this work area. The Environment Description displays below the selected environment.
