Default settings for program, extension, and icon associations are configured in ProjectWise Administrator, however you can override them as necessary by defining your own user associations in ProjectWise Explorer. Whenever a user association is defined, it will be used in place of the default association defined in the ProjectWise Administrator.

Any user associations you define will only apply to you, the user who configured them. User associations only override the changes for that user, they do not affect the associations of other users, nor do they change the default associations as defined in ProjectWise Administrator.
