Rendition profile components are needed for all rendition jobs, whether they are run from Bentley i-model Composition Server Administrator or ProjectWise Explorer. When configuring jobs in Bentley i-model Composition Server Administrator, the administrator will add the rendition profile components they need directly to the job definition. When configuring jobs in ProjectWise Explorer, the user will simply select which rendition profile (which already contains rendition profile components) they want to use.

Under the Rendition Profile Components node there are four component categories, each defining a different aspect of a potential rendition job. Select each category to see a list of components already defined for that category. Right-click each component category and select New to create a new rendition profile component of that type. You can also right-click each category to export all components of the selected category, or import components exported from another datasource.

Right-click the Rendition Profile Components node and select:

• Export Rendition Profile Components — to export all rendition profiles components from all component categories, so they can be imported into another datasource.

• Import Rendition Profile Components — to import rendition profile components exported from another datasource.
