Creating Environments

You can create as many environments as you require, each of which can contain one, many, or no interfaces. When a user creates a folder in ProjectWise, they can specify which environment the folder will use, if any.

You can create environments by:

  • copying environments from other datasources

  • using the New Environment Wizard

  • importing environments exported from other datasources



Tip: A customized table must exist in order to use an existing table when creating an environment. The following procedure assumes previous experience with creating environments and tables.
