Working With Clip Planes in ProStructures
Various ProStructures tools have clip plane options to make viewing your model information easier.
Work Frame Dialog
With the Workframe - Views tab of the Workframes dialog, you can set the distance in front of and behind the current view for the main work frame. These settings are used to hide or display objects at different depths of your view.
Work Frame Properties
If you have created a custom work frame view, right click on the frame and select Properties. Use the properties window to set your clip plane depth.
Select Views
Select View dialog for tools that allow you to easily see plan and elevation views of your model. It provides an option to Use Display Clip Planes. Views accessed from Select View dialog use the front and back clip plane distances you set on the main Work Frame screen.
Clip Plane View Tools
The Clip Planes command buttons (Clip Plane Tools) to set the clip plane mode, turn clip planes on/off and adjust the front and back distances.
