The Bentley Coax equipment specification setup allows you to input all engineering equipment data required for the Bentley Coax design tools to calculate engineering values as you draft the coaxial network. Equipment vendor specific specifications are entered as part of the setup.

Bentley Coax spec files stores equipment specification as well as design display parameters in database tables. These specification files can later be applied to the coaxial network being designed.

From the OpenComms menu click File>OpenComms Settings>Coax to display the 6 Coax Setup options:

These options will be used to create, modify, import, and export the Coax specification files. The following sections describe the steps for setting up the Coax Spec files.
