The Upgrade Spec File command creates a copy of an existing spec file with different design frequencies.

Upgrade a Spec File

1. Select File > OpenComms Settings > Coax > Upgrade Spec File.

   

2. The Upgrade Equipment File dialog box opens.

   

3. Enter the new Equipment Spec file Name and select the Number of frequencies to be tracked.
4. Enter the frequencies being used and select the appropriate boxes. Rvs – for reverse frequencies. Disp – for frequencies to be displayed.
5. When completed, click Upgrade. After entering the new frequencies, the new equipment files are created, and changes can be entered.
6. The new spec file can be opened by selecting Setup > Open Spec File and modifying the data for the frequencies that were changed.
