Creating Floors

Use the tools in the Floors ribbon group to create floors in your building energy project. Floor plans from DGN models, DWG/DXF files, PDF files or image files are typically referenced to create new floors.

Note: A building must contain at least one floor before rooms can be modeled.

New (Floor)

To create a new floor

Adjust Tool (fine tune floor references)

To scale a referenced floor plan drawing from PDF

To rotate a referenced floor plan drawing

To move the attachment point of a referenced floor plan drawing
