OpenBridge Modeler

To set requirements for using reference files

The following settings should be used when working with reference files in OpenBridge Modeler.

  1. In the DetailCenter dialog, on the Setting tab, do the following settings in "Behavior at Opening/Reload":
    1. Check the Scan Composite Model option. This instructs the Detail Center to collect the reference file OpenBridge Modeler objects.
    2. Check the With Workframes and then the Show empty entries options.
    3. A value for the Zero level (z) field is required.
  2. In the Detail style dialog, in the the 2D Display > Views tab, enable the Use References option. This option will display those Detail Styles in the 2D drawing.
  3. If required, user-defined Line styles, Patterning styles, Sketch styles, and Text styles should be created before applying or using them in the Detail Style. The Use line weight display option on each should be checked in the Detail Style whenever the line weight display is desired.
  4. Whenever a Detail Style override —applying a different Detail Style to the selected objects— is required, a new display group should be created. Objects and shapes should be assigned to that group using the tool in the Assign parts dialog.
  5. If rebar is required in the output, the appropriate settings should be created in the ProConcrete tab of the DetailStyle.
