You can use reference files for producing 2D engineering layout drawings in ProStructures.

Multiple models and nesting of reference files are supported. However cyclic nesting of reference files is not supported (e.g., model1 referenced in model2 and model2 referenced in model1).

A reference model can be attached only once to an extraction model and cannot exist or be part of a nested attachment.

Except for DetailStyle settings, the process of generating 2D layouts/views, shop fabrication drawings, or erection diagrams are generally the same whether you are generating steel, concrete, or hybrid drawings.
