Coincident 3D Constraint

Used to constrain the faces, edges or vertices of 3D elements to be coincident. The constrained faces are kept in the same plane in the design, while the constrained edges or vertices pass through a common point.

You can access this tool from the following:
  • Ribbon: Modeling > Constraints > 3D
  • Ribbon: Drawing > Constraints > 3D
  • Toolbox: 3D Constraint Tools
SettingDescription
Orientation Sets the orientation of the resultant constrained entities.
  • Automatic - The tool decides itself the best possible orientation of the resulting constrained entities.
  • Facing Opposite - The resulting constrained entities are placed facing each other.
  • Aligned - The resulting constrained entities are placed in alignment with each other.
