Stair Properties, Treads panel
The Stair Properties dialog, Treads panel, is used to set or modify the treads related property settings for a stair assembly.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Tread Depth |
Sets the depth of a tread in working unit. This is a horizontal nose-to-nose between two adjacent treads. Changes to tread depth will also reflect in the placement tab. |
Tread Thickness |
Sets the thickness to the Slab type treads. Tread thickness is disabled for other tread types. |
Tread Profile |
Enabled when Tread Type had set to Parametric Profile. Sets the tread profile (.PAZ) selected from the pull down menu. |
Tread Type |
Sets the type of tread to use in the stair construction.
|
Tread Nosing Distance |
Sets the distance from the leading edge of a tread to the point of intersection between the tread below the base of riser. This is the overlap distance of one tread to another. Remains disabled for Parametric Profile Tread type. |
Tread Nosing Profile |
Sets the nose profile for projected treads having non-zero nosing distance defined.
Remains disabled for Parametric Profile Tread type. |
Tread Nosing Radius/Chamfer |
Sets the radius or a symmetrical chamfer distance used in the nosing profile. |
Tread Part Definition |
Sets the tread family and part definition pair through the popped up pull down menus. Family and part assignment could be done for slab as well as for plane and parametric profile treads. The value set through Part option overrides the native definitions of family part, if any in the profile. |
