To add a new load case to your physical model, use the following procedure.

1. On the Model ribbon tab, select the Load Case tool in the Loads group.
   
   The Add Load Case dialog opens.
2. Type a unique Name for the load case. This is helpful in identifying the load case.
3. (Optional) Type a Description for the load case.
4. Select the load case Type from the drop-down list.
5. (Optional) Type self-weight multipliers in each global direction if the load case should contain a self weight.
6. To reference an one or more existing load groups in this load case:
   1. Click in the Load Group Filter field and select the check boxes for each load group type to use in this load case.
   2. Click in the Factors field and type a multiplier Factor for each load group included.
7. Click OK. The load case is created and selected as the current load case.
