Table 1. Active Load Group group
Tool name Description
Load selection Select the current active load group from the drop-down list.


Display Load Values
Controls the display of loads for the current load group. Click the drop-down arrow to control the display of load values along with vector graphics.
Tip: The Display Load Values tool is inactive when the current load case is a seismic or response spectrum load type.

Tool name Description


Load Group
Opens the Add load group dialog, which is used to specify a new load group of load items all pertaining to a similar type of loading.


Load Case
Opens the Add Load Case dialog, which is used to add a load case.


Load Combination
Opens the Add Load Combination dialog, which is used to add a load case which consists of factored combinations of loads from other load cases.


Automatic Combinations
Opens the Automatic Combinations dialog, which is used to generate a series of load combinations automatically using code-prescribed rules.


Time History Ground Motion
Opens the Add Time History Ground Motion dialog, which is used to apply previously defined ground motion time history definitions to the structure.
Note: This tool is inactive unless the active load is a time history a time history load case.


Self Weight
Adds self weight to the current load group for members and surfaces applied in the negative Y global axis.


Add Loads
Opens the Add Loads dialog which is used to copy loads from an existing load group or load case.

Opens the Analysis Commands dialog, which is used to specify the method of analysis used as well as any analysis parameters.
