To specify a linear elastic analysis

You must have a completely modeled structure with at least one load case.

All analysis is performed in the Analysis mode.

  1. Add or edit an existing analysis set in the Analysis Commands dialog .

    To add an analysis set

  2. Select Linear Elastic from the Analysis type drop-down list (default). This instructs the analysis engine to perform a 1st order, linear elastic analysis.
  3. Select the desired Print option for including analysis results in the output file.
  4. Click OK.
