Element-specific damping values are defined. The coefficients can be directly input by the user or recalculated by the program from 2 damping constants (logarithmic decrement) valid for 2 characteristic frequencies. (Input in the pad displayed when selecting the arrow to the right of the input field) Note: Alpha and Beta belong together. Both values must be defined in the same manner, i.e. either both are taken over from the global settings, or both are directly defined, or both are recalculated from the same set of damping constants and characteristic frequencies.
