Modify Wall Elevation dialog
Used to create sloping beam framing by changing the elevation of the top of the wall.
Opens when either:
This command is used to create sloping beam framing by changing the elevation of the top of the wall. When a Wall is initially modeled, the top of wall is assumed to be at the story level, and any beams framing into that wall are assumed to frame in at that level. Therefore, this command need not be selected unless an extended or shortened wall is desired, or to clear any previous assignment made. When a wall elevation is modified, the elevations of the ends of the beams and braces that frame into that wall are also modified accordingly.
Tip: The base of the wall at the foundation level can be lowered using Layout - Foundations - Modify Elevation .
