From the Member Forces (Load Combination Mode) dialog, the type of member force (i.e., axial, major shear etc.) resulting from a load combination is selected for display. The current load combination is indicated in the upper left hand side of the dialog box. The Change Combo button causes the previous dialog to appear, allowing you to select a different load combination for which the member forces will be displayed.

Select the type of member force to display by clicking its corresponding button in the Force Type box.

Clicking the Apply button will cause the selected force to be displayed. The force can be shown graphically (moment, shear diagram) or as text on member ends, or both. Select the desired check boxes to indicate your preference. The Close button causes the dialog box to close leaving the current display on the view screen. To return to the original 3-D view with no member forces displayed, click Reset Model .
