Change Single Column Footing Properties
To change the properties of a single column footing that has already been modeled:
- Select the layout type containing the footing that is to be changed.
- Select the Layout - Foundations - Single Column - Change Properties command.
- Check the item or items to be changed in the Items to Change box. Only those properties that have been selected there will be changed. The others will retain their current value.
- Type the Footing Type, Reinforcement, Footing, or Orientation values that are to be assigned to the footing or footings. Refer to the Foundation manual for information on how these values are used in the design of Spread and Pile Cap footings.
- Select either Single to change one single column footing at a time or Fence to change all single column footings within a fenced area.

| Single: | Click the target cursor on the single column footing that is to be changed. |
| Fence: | Fence an area in which all single column footings are to be changed. |
Return to the Change Single Column Footing Properties dialog box with the Right Mouse Button or the "D" key.
Return to the Layout - Foundations menu with the "M" key.
Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Foundations - Single Column - Change Properties command.
