The RAM Concrete program automatically calculates the gravity loads that are to be applied to the structure from the user applied surface, line and point loads, as well as from self-weight if desired. Each story is analyzed independently for the gravity loads and the reactions from each stories analysis are applied as loads for the analysis of the story below.
