In a Finite Element Analysis, the points at which members intersect are called nodes. For the purpose of analysis, these nodes are numbered.

The View - Node Numbers command turns on and off the display of node numbers. A check mark appears beside the menu item and the toolbar button appears depressed when the display is turned on. The check mark is removed and the toolbar button is up when the display is turned off.

The View - Options - Scale Text command can be used to change the size of the node numbers as they appear on the screen to make them more readable.
