Renaming Documents and Folders
You can rename a document or folder in ProjectWise Drive like you normally would in File Explorer.
ProjectWise Drive detects the local change and automatically pushes the change to ProjectWise. You can verify this by right-clicking the renamed document or folder and selecting Open in ProjectWise Web.
File Name vs Document Name
In ProjectWise, the file name and document name can be different, but only the file name is shown in ProjectWise Drive. If the file name and document name are currently the same in ProjectWise, then changing the file name in ProjectWise Drive will automatically change both the file name and document name in ProjectWise. If the file name and document name are not currently the same in ProjectWise, then changing the file name in ProjectWise Drive will only change the file name in ProjectWise.
