This section discusses how to use the ProjectWise functionality available in MapInfo when it is integrated with ProjectWise. This section includes information about the ProjectWise toolbar supplied in MapInfo once it is integrated to ProjectWise.

The integration of both applications essentially allows users to:

• Open a MapInfo document directly from ProjectWise Explorer and automatically log into this datasource with the document file fully loaded. This feature requires some basic configuration in ProjectWise Explorer.

• Once in MapInfo, open other MapInfo documents from a ProjectWise datasource.

• Add tables from ProjectWise in the active Workspace document

• Create new MapInfo documents and automatically add them in the active ProjectWise datasource.

• Refresh the server copy of the currently opened MapInfo document.

• Export MapInfo documents from ProjectWise to any location on disk.

• Lock, update or check-in to the active datasource the files stored in ProjectWise that may be edited during or after an edit session in MapInfo.
