ProjectWise Field Data Management Help

Exporting Forms

You can export the list of forms to an Excel file. The file includes all the form information from the Forms Register such as name, status, and dates.
Note: The contents of the forms are not included in the exported file.
  1. Select the checkbox next to the form or forms that you want to export.
  2. Select Actions > Export all to Excel.
  3. If your browser prompts you, choose to Save the file titled Forms.xlsx. By default, the file is saved to your Downloads folder.

Exporting Forms to PDF

You can also export complete forms to a PDF file. The file includes the full contents of the forms. You can export one or more forms to a single PDF. If you need a separate PDF for each form, you must export each form individually.

  1. Select the checkbox next to the form or forms that you want to export into a single PDF.
  2. Select Actions > Export Selected Forms to PDF.

If this is the first time you are performing this task from this project, the Choose PDF Export Destination dialog opens, prompting you to select a destination folder in ProjectWise Share in which to store the new PDF. You can either create a new folder or select an existing folder. Select your destination folder and click Select Current Folder. (This folder will be set as the default destination folder.)

  3. When the Export PDF dialog opens, do the following.
    1. Click Change Destination to change the folder in ProjectWise Share in which to store the new PDF.

If you change the destination folder here, it will be set as the new default destination folder for subsequent exports.

    2. Click Export PDF.
A dialog opens to inform you that your PDF will be available for download from this project's ProjectWise Share, and that you will receive an email notification when it is ready.
  4. Click OK.
Tip: You can also export to PDF by opening a form and clicking the Export to PDF button in the upper-right corner of the form. This action does not save the PDF to ProjectWise Share; instead, this creates the PDF and opens it in your PDF viewer, from which you can save it or print it as needed.
