To Assign a Workspace Profile to a Folder

  1. Open the Properties dialog for a folder containing MicroStation or AutoCAD documents.
  2. Select the Workspace tab.
  3. Set Workspace Type to Workspace Profile.

    The Level associations list changes to Workspace Profile.

  4. Do one of the following:

    Select a profile from the Workspace Profile list.

    or

    If you want the folder to inherit the workspace profile from its parent folder, set Workspace Profile to <none> (Inherit).

    or

    If you do not want the folder to have any workspace profile, set Workspace Profile to <none> (Don't inherit).

    Values in the list get populated according to the properties of the selected workspace profile.

  5. Click OK.
