Configuring the address book

All ProjectWise users with active accounts in the datasource are valid recipients for ProjectWise Messenger messages. The address book in ProjectWise Messenger is used to create mailing lists of existing users, groups or other mailing lists.

The following options are available from the Address Book's File menu or as otherwise described below:

Menu Item	Effect
New Mailing List	Opens the New Mailing List dialog, which is used to create mailing lists (This option is also available from the dialog's toolbar).
Modify Mailing List	Opens the Mailing List Properties dialog, which is used to edit an existing mailing list.
New Message	Same as selecting Message > New from ProjectWise Messenger.
Delete	Allows you to delete a global or personal mailing list. (This option is also available from the dialog's toolbar).
Properties	Opens the properties dialog, which is used to view the properties of a user, user group or user list in the global/personal address books (This option is also available from the dialog's toolbar).
Close	Closes the Address Book.
