To Acknowledge a General Correspondence

The first thing to do when you receive a general correspondence is to acknowledge it. This notifies the issuer that you have received it.

When you click the link to the general correspondence provided in the notification email you received, a browser window opens, you are prompted to sign in, and finally the general correspondence opens for you to acknowledge it. Use the steps below if you are not following a link from a notification email.

  1. Go to the Incoming tab.
  2. Do one of the following:

    Click the Acknowledge button in the Actions column next to the general correspondence you want to acknowledge.

    or

    Click the check box next to one or more general correspondences you want to acknowledge and click the Acknowledge selected button.

    or

    Open an general correspondence from the list (click the link in the Subject column) and click the Acknowledge button on the general correspondence properties page.
