The Windows Security System datasource node displays in the datasource in ProjectWise Administrator when ProjectWise User Synchronization Service (Administrator component) is installed on the ProjectWise Administrator computer.

ProjectWise User Synchronization Service lets you create and update ProjectWise user accounts by leveraging Windows domain or Active Directory accounts.

Under the Windows Security System datasource node is the User Synchronization Service snap-in, which is used to manage the ProjectWise User Synchronization Service (Engine), which runs as a native Windows service.

Right-click the Windows Security System datasource node and select Properties to apply granular security to this datasource node.
