Create Steps
When checked, the staircase steps are generated. The type of steps can be selected between standard steps, treads shapes, and Cell steps.

For selected option of type of steps the settings differ, allowing selecting the shape type or the cell from the respective selection lists.

Standard Steps
  • Tread width – Sets the depth of the staircase steps.
  • Hole location – Sets the distance of first hole from the top edge of the step.
  • Plate depth – Sets the height of the staircase steps.
  • Hole spacing – Sets the spacing of both mounting holes. That is the horizontal distance of the slotted hole to the first hole.
  • Edge distance – Sets the distance of the holes from the upper edge of the steps. It defines the position of first hole from the front edge of the step.
  • Hole dia. – Sets the hole diameter of the steps’ mounting holes.
  • Slot length – Sets the length of the slotted hole. That is the distance of the axes of the rear oblong step hole.
  • Nosing offset – Sets the offset of the staircase steps from the front edge of the staircase to the back. Negative values move the steps to the front. It is the horizontal movement of the step to the back of the stair.
Treads Built from Shapes
  • Shape Type – Sets the shape type for the shape steps (standard, user shapes, etc.)
  • Resolution – Sets the resolution for the treads shape (Low, Normal or High)
  • Shape Class – Sets the shape class or catalogue for the shape type.
  • Shape Size – Sets the shape size for the shape steps.
Cell Steps
  • Cell – Displays the name of the selected step cell. A step cell is selected from the available list.
  • Cell path – Sets the path to the step cell being loaded. The folder icon browse the folder path for selection of step cell.
  • Group Step parts – When checked, groups all step parts to a group.
