Automatic Position Settings dialog

Used to pre-set how the automatic positioning of component parts has to be carried out in concrete.

Setting	Description
Filter	Provides a list of selectable elements / parts for using in automatic positioning. Concrete Elements – Lists the filterable concrete parts. When checked, are used in automatic positioning for the concrete. Rebar Collections – Lists the filterable rebars. When checked, are used in automatic positioning for the rebar. Single Bars –Lists the filterable single bars. When checked, are used in automatic positioning for the single bar.
Sorting Concrete / Cages/Meshes / Rebars	Lists the arguments —1st in left list and —2nd in right list, for sorting respective element group. Highlighted position flag style can be moved up or down in the list using the buttons on the right. Reverse – When checked, sets the sorting order reversed.
Tolerances	Minimum Line Length – Sets the minimum length value of a line used in equal part comparison. Length Tolerance – Sets the maximum distance between endpoints of the lines to see then identical. Weight Tolerance – Recursive – When checked, the cages, rebar of the selected concrete are included.
Options	Overwrite Existing – When checked, overwrites existing position numbers. Equal Part Detection Concrete – When checked, performs the equal part detection for the elements. If unchecked, every element is assigned its own position number. Equal Part Detection Cages/Meshes – When checked, performs the equal part detection for the groups. If unchecked, every element of group, sub group and assembly is assigned different position number. Equal Part Detection Rebars – When checked, connections are checked whether they are equal. Use Family Prefix – When checked, the position numbering uses prefix of family part. Detailed Rebar Check – When checked, does detailed rebar check when positioning. Compare Rebar of Concrete Parts – When checked, compares rebar properties of bar in concrete parts.
OK	Closes the dialog and save your changes.
Help	Opens online help.
Template	Saves and retrieve (Using Templates) settings to be used on other projects.
Favorites	Current Settings - Select when you haven't created any template and you want to use the current settings of the dialog instead. Bentley/Default - Select when you want to use the application default settings template and you don't want to use the current settings of the dialog instead.
